It's currently free, but would be worth much more.Gilmour has written a challenging devotional, based on the book of Hosea. The writing is good, and I didn't notice a single grammatical error. Another plus -- the book is short -- although I would have gladly read more.
The basic message -- putting anything before God is adultery. The most important thing we can have, or be, is to be committed to God above all else.

I Loved every page of this book! Eric has done a masterful job of conveying the broken heart of God towards those of us who bear the name of Christ but yet find ourselves distracted from seeking His face and truly experiencing His person.
This book should be read regularly as a means of checking to see if our blood pressure is properly pumping after the heart of God.
What a great reminder that we are created for Him. This book strikes a cord in me that forces me to face the life I live and seek a deeper walk with the One who loves beyond understanding. I have never thought of idolatry the way Eric teaches it, but it rang true for me. Nostalgia teaches such a simple, but powerful lesson about God's heart and mine and reminds me where my home is.
It was a good book, and I made several highlights in it. There was only one interpretation I clearly disagreed with. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed it and will probably recommend it to others.
This book contains a beautiful and compelling word from the Lord for His bride. We always need to remember that we have never grown so much that we don’t need to just sit in awe and reverence for Him each day. We need to just be with Him, without asking for a thing. He loves to give, even in the midst of these times, but that is never the point of entering into His presence for this one-on-one worship. A great reminder for every believer!

Maybe you've been struggling to deal with the ugly fruit instead of the sinful root. Maybe you are trying to not "fulfill the desires of the flesh" in order to "walk in the Spirit." We get it backwards...but, God has the solution and He is the remedy!
This book was an estimated 30 minute read but I didn't want to miss one important part. I highlighted more on my than left untouched.
Thank you Eric Gilmour for speaking these words of truth; exposing the true heart of our Father.
I encourage EVERY one no matter where u out are in your walk with the Living God through Christ, read this book. But don't only read the words, really take in and comprehend what is being said as if God Himself were speaking these words. Because He is!!
I found this book for free on . I usually speed read Christian, non-fiction books because they are usually so dry. NOT THIS ONE! WOW! I am now re-reading, highlighting, and studying this. This is a deep, yet practical study of Hosea. All I can really say is This Book Is Amazing, and definitely worth reading.
